This species of Boggy is another of the Goblinoid subspecies of Boggy. They are the scrapping Bauchans, (AKA: Bogans). Bauchans are the direct cousins of the Hob-Goblin, or rather their rough descendant race. They have a penchant for violence and love to fight, a lot. While not necessarily evil they have short tempers and fly off the handle and are deceptively strong. They are probably one of the toughest of the Boggies and even Goblinoids only being beaten by their near cousin race the Maugs and Spriggans in toughness, who are the biggest goblins and Boggies of them all. And, like their larger kin, they have the ability to spasm/rage gaining strength through their mad anger.
Bauchans stand about 5 feet tall and sometimes up to 5.5 feet tall and have fair skin ranging from pale to fleshy pink; they have very light freckles if any. Their hair is pale platinum blonde to silvery white, even at young ages. They have yellow eyes and lean well defined bodies. They are slightly less proportioned as odd as other Goblinoids being larger and more akin to the Maugs, but still have slightly longer arms big hands and big feet. Their ears are smaller than other Goblinoid ears and less batty as well as their noses being a bit smaller to than the exaggerated ones of their kin, but one can still see the slight exaggeration of features relating them to their goblin/boggy roots. To outsiders Bauchans look like big, pale, mean leprechauns who wear black, white and grey instead of green. Both male and females look like scrapping thugs, and although females look like females they can be so mean looking that they may be mistaken for young males, unless well endowed.
Bauchans love to drink although not known to be light hearted when they celebrate. They donít have great senses of humor and if they do itís a bit crude. Although not the brightest of Goblinoids they arenít the dumbest by any stretch, they just have no interests in the higher thinking and philosophies. They are often used as body guards for Goblin Merchant Lords who are traveling abroad. Altho0ugh Bauchans can live in the tight Goblin society, they donít often do so and more often are seen in places with Hob-goblins and Maugs. They are known to go to human pubs from time to time and hold their own very well against other human scrappers. Bauchan society is not very strong or centralized; they are fringe survivors and vagabonds livings among and off of other societies, much like Haflings. They are admired, but not feared, by the Maugs and are welcome mercenaries in their wars with the Gigas and Orcs. And they make excellent warriors and berserkers.
